Dermatology Lifting

Dermatology lifting is a non-invasive procedure that reduces sagging skin and fine lines around the face. It also stimulates collagen production for a healthy-looking glow.

This surgery involves repositioning the structural tissues under your skin. The incisions are hidden in the natural creases surrounding your ears or along your hairline.

Facelift

The facelift, also called a rhytidectomy, is the classic surgical anti-aging procedure that lifts and tightens loose skin on the neck and lower portion of the face to improve facial contour. It produces more dramatic and longer-lasting results than other facial treatments, such as injections of dermal fillers or laser resurfacing.

It works best on patients who have a reasonable amount of loose skin that has begun to sag. The procedure leaves permanent scars, so it is not appropriate for young people who are just starting to show signs of aging.

A traditional facelift is a relatively lengthy and invasive treatment that requires a few weeks of recovery time. During this time, you may experience some pain and bruising that gradually fades. It is important to avoid strenuous exercise and activities until the incision sites heal. Your doctor will remove your sutures at the postoperative appointment. Some patients choose to pair a facelift with other surgical procedures, such as an eyelid lift or brow lift.

Thread Lift

A thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure for treating loose skin and a drooping jawline. The treatment involves inserting a barbed thread, usually made from biodegradable PDO (polydioxanone) or poly lactic-co-glycolic acid, into the skin through a small needle, which is then pulled to lift and tighten the skin. The threads have microscopic hooks that grip the underlying tissues and pull them upward. This also triggers your body to produce more collagen, a fibrous protein that gives skin strength and elasticity.

The treatment is performed under local anesthesia in your doctor’s office and takes about an hour. It is less painful than a surgical facelift, but it can cause slight discomfort at the needle entry points. You can expect a few days of swelling and bruising, but this resolves quickly. The threads gradually dissolve and are replaced by natural collagen, which helps maintain the results. Results last 10 months to a year. The threads can be removed before then if desired.

Soft Lift

Unlike many products that target just one result of facial aging, Soft Lift smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, restores lost volume, and enhances facial contours to create a balanced and naturally refreshed look. Using the complementary benefits of today’s most popular injectable anti-wrinkle products, BOTOX(r) Cosmetic and JUVEDERM(r) dermal filler, it creates natural-looking results that blend in beautifully with your face’s shape.

During treatment, neuromodulators are injected to relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, and dermal fillers are used to restore the skin’s natural volume. The soft lift procedure combines the two to produce an instantly visible effect that continues to improve over time as the body produces its own collagen.온다리프팅

V Soft Lift uses a special patented technology with barbed, resorbable polylactic acid sutures placed in a cannula. The LIFT thread has a series of cones that grasp, lift and suspend neck and facial tissues. The GRID technology uses smooth threads that increase the skin’s collagen production.삼성동피부과

Silhouette InstaLift

Silhouette InstaLift is a safe, minimally-invasive alternative to surgical face lifts. It uses absorbable sutures with bidirectional cones to lift and suspend sagging facial tissues, providing immediate and discreet lifting results. The sutures also stimulate collagen production, resulting in long-term facial rejuvenation.

The treatment is performed in the comfort of your dermatology provider’s office. After the area is numbed with local anesthetic, an opening is made to insert the sutures. The entry and exit points of the sutures are anchored in fat, which has very few pain nerves, so you should feel only slight discomfort during the procedure.

You will return home soon after treatment. It is important to follow your dermatology provider’s post-treatment recommendations and avoid direct sunlight and contact sports for several days after the procedure. Mild swelling, bruising and tenderness should be expected in the first few days after treatment, but will dissipate quickly. Most patients need no maintenance sessions, though your dermatology provider will evaluate the longevity of your results at your follow-up appointments.
